Aim
Redemption is a progression-focused Republic PvE endgame raiding guild. With that in mind, our continuing goal is to be the best raiding guild on the server. This is and will be achieved by the skill, commitment and dedication that our raiders bring to the guild.
Behaviour
All Members
- Respect - You must treat others with respect, both within the guild and without. Derogatory or abusive behaviour in any form of public chat will not be tolerated. As a member of the guild, you represent the guild at all times. It is expected that you will comport yourself in a manner that does not reflect poorly on the guild. Behave in a friendly, generous and mature manner as much as possible.
- Spamming/Trolling - Will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
- Ninja looting – See Respect. Will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
- Instructions - If given by an officer or guild leader, follow them.
- Grievances - See Respect. If you have a dispute with a fellow guild member, take it to tells, or if you need assistance resolving it, contact an officer. Do not let it spill over into guild chat. If you have an issue with an officer, take it to them - if the problem cannot be resolved, bring it to the guild leader's attention.
Raider Requirements/Expectations
- Attendance - See Behaviour/Respect. Maintain at least 80% raid attendance. Missing a raid without reasonable prior notice, barring an emergency, is disrespectful to your fellow raiders and to the guild as a whole.
- Minimise loot drama - no whining or being greedy about loot. A 'loot whore' attitude will not be tolerated. Items will drop again, absolutely no need to get in a fuss about it.
- Flexibility - Be willing to change skill point distribution etc, as deemed necessary, in order to foster progression.
- Connection/PC - Have as stable a connection as possible and maintain a PC capable of handling graphically intense encounters.
- Communication - Required. Without communication, neither the individual or the whole can improve. You should have a microphone, and not be afraid to use it.
- Preparation - Bring all necessary consumables to last the entirety of the night, every raid night. Ensure that you are fully repaired before the raid. Be online and ready to go 15 minutes before the start of the raid. 'Ready to go' means that you have consumables, have repaired and you are on your way to the raid instance. There are no summons.
- Criticism - Be thick skinned. You must be able to take verbal, sometimes harsh, criticism from officers and/or the guild leader. We don't hold hands in Redemption.
- Dedication - Be motivated and committed to achieve the highest level of progression. When in a raid, you are expected to perform to a high standard.
- Fun - Have it. Lots of it.
Raid Schedule
All times listed are AEST (GMT+10, Australian Eastern Standard Time)
- Wednesday - 7:30-11:30pm
- Thursday - 7:30-11:30pm
- Sunday - 7:30-11:30pm
- Monday - 7:30-11:30pm
PvP
PvP, both solo and organised, is actively encouraged, even though we are on a PvE server. Having said that, if you are a trial or a raider, raiding always takes priority. Come 7:15pm on a raid night, you will be expected to immediately leave your warzone or any other PvP activity and prepare yourself for the raid. Holding up the raid so that you can finish what you're doing is not acceptable.
